Naldehra

Located at an altitude of 2200 metres in the Himalayan Mountains, Naldehra is a picturesque hill station that attracts travellers with its stunning views and impressive golf course. This small town, situated near Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, is a haven for nature enthusiasts.

Named after a local deity, Nal Deo, the place has an interesting tale associated with it. According to folklore, there was a dispute between two local gods (Devtas) regarding hierarchical supremacy, which led to a fight. The warring deities caused so much destruction that trees burnt down, and stones melted before the dispute was settled. It is because of that legendary fight that Naldehra glade does not have any stones or trees and has been a meadow ever since.
